大家好！感謝你今日到場支持Bellaholics！今年係Bellaholics第5次同大家喺12月見面啦，我哋咁多位當初因為打bell而認識，5年嚟一齊學習同成長，用音樂同手鈴連結彼此。今年我哋迎來新轉變，除咗大家今日嚟到新地方睇表演之外，仲有新團員、新指揮，台上嘅手鈴都係屬於我哋㗎！《Winter Nova》代表住成長同再出發，Bellaholics呢粒「新星」會繼續閃閃發光，每年冬天以手鈴音樂陪伴大家。最近大埔火災或者令大家感到痛心、無力，希望接下嚟一個多小時，可以令大家有喘息同放鬆嘅空間，感受我哋透過手鈴帶嚟嘅力量。

Thank you for being here today to support Bellaholics!Bellaholics has been ringing in winters since 2021, we got to know each other through ringing handbells, we have learned and grown together, bonded each other through music and bells. This year, we are welcoming some big new changes, besides performing in a brand-new venue today, we also have a new member, new conductors, and the bells on stage now belong to us!"Winter Nova" symbolizes growth and a new beginning. Bellaholics, the “nova,” will keep shining brightly, accompanying everyone every winter with the bells. The recent Tai Po fire may have left many of us feeling heartbroken and helpless. We hope to give everyone a moment to breathe, relax, and feel the strength and warmth we bring through music.

Bellaholics

Bellaholics 由一群對手鈴音樂充滿熱情和夢想的年輕人於 2021 年成立。我們命名為 ‘Bellaholics’，意指我們是手鈴愛好者，期望透過不同的演出讓大眾認識手鈴演奏藝術。Bellaholics 的團員均曾於香港青少年手鈴樂團跟隨李潔瑤女士學習手鈴演奏，具豐富的演奏經驗。Bellaholics 曾於本地及海外不同場合為觀眾帶來高水準的演奏，包括自成立以來每年 12 月均會舉辦聖誕音樂會，及代表香港出席分別於美國及日本舉行的第 20 及 21 屆國際手鈴大會，獲得外界一致好評。除了舉辦及參與不同演出，Bellaholics 亦會定期於社交平台上載演奏片段，希望以多元化和具感染力的演奏帶給觀眾嶄新的體驗，讓大眾享受手鈴音樂的喜悅與共鳴，並以不同形式展現此獨特的樂器，藉此推動本地手鈴音樂發展。

Carmen Fung

Carmen Fung is now studying at the Education University of Hong Kong in Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Creative and Digital Arts (Music). She is currently a member of the Echoes from EdUHK Handbell Ensemble.Carmen has been learning handchime since 2006. She joined the Hong Kong Youth Handbell Ensemble since 2012, and started to learn handbell, under the guidance of Ms. Emily Li and Ms. Joyce Lo. She has performed with the ensemble locally and internationally, including Taipei, Japan, Finland and Estonia. She had participated in the concerts.Carmen co-founded Belllaholics in 2021 and became the conductor of the ensemble in 2025. She had joined the 21st International Handbell Symposium in Japan. Carmen is also active in teaching handbell and handchime. She had led many secondary and primary schools for performance and competitions.

Joyce Lau

Joyce Lau began learning handbells in 2008 and joined the Hong Kong Youth Handbell Ensemble in 2014, under the guidance of Ms. Emily Li and Ms. Joyce Lo. She has participated in local performances and annual concerts, gaining rich performance experience. She has also visited Taipei, Sendai, Finland, and Estonia, where she performed with local teams.

Rhine Wong

Rhine Wong stepped on her journey with handchimes and handbells in 2011 and 2015. In 2017, she joined the Hong Kong Youth Handbell Ensemble and learned from Ms. Emily and Ms. Joyce Lo. Apart from local performances, she has followed the team to Australia, Finland and Estonia and gained precious experiences through the interaction with handbell groups all around the world.“I spend most of my music time in fantasies.”Since Rhine started to learn the piano and handchimes, she has been thinking, “What if we add a few more notes here?” And when she listened to traditional hymns at church, she thought, “Would more people like hymns if they are rearranged to other styles?” Rhine started her own handbell arrangement series of reimagining traditional hymns. The first two songs in the series are The Deer’s Fantasy (As the Deer) and Because He Lives, which are performed in this concert.Rhine’s original handbell music Glocken-Spiel! (Bell-Play!) was performed in Bellaholics’ 2024 Christmas concert “Celebration”. The piece completely shows her energy and imagination. The song is uploaded to Bellaholics’ Youtube channel.

Ivan Ho

Ivan Ho is currently a freelance music educator. He has studied classical, pop, and jazz music, with in-depth exploration of various musical styles. He formed the band "Sam And Friends" with friends, serving as the keyboardist and participating in performances. He has participated in various performances, including wedding ceremonies, school performances, Art in MTR - Living Art Stage and Band concerts.

Jesse Lin

Jesse Lin is currently a secondary school teacher. He began learning acoustic guitar since 2014 and previously served as a guitarist in the CUHK Christian Band. His recent work includes "Dear Diary".

Oscar Tong

Oscar Tong is an experienced pop vocal coach with numerous awards in public competitions. He has recently become a music producer, his works include "The Ocean" (濤) of Keung To and "Double" (雙倍奉還) of Fat Ho.

Yung Man

Yung Man is currently a Year 3 student of Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Creative Arts and Culture and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Music Education at The Education University of Hong Kong, majoring in Cello Performance.Man holds LTCL Diploma in cello performance, and has actively participated in various performances and exchange activities. He represented the university in a performance of Beethoven’s String Quintet with violinist Mr. Leung Kin-Fung, and performed “In Praise of Teachers” with the university choir of HKU to celebrate the school’s 35th anniversary. He was invited to join the EdUHK music delegation to perform at universities in Guangzhou University Town, including South China Normal University and Sun Yat-sen University.Outside of university, Man has served as Assistant Principal Cellist of the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra, and represented Hong Kong to perform with the Nie Er Symphony Orchestra in Yunnan under the guidance of Mr. Leung. At the Xinghai Conservatory of Music, he made his debut performance representing the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to classical music, he has provided cello accompaniment for pop singers such as Hins Cheung and Zhang Bichen, demonstrating outstanding performance ability across genres.

Bellaholics

Bellaholics was founded in 2021 by a group of young handbell enthusiasts, and hence the name ‘Bellaholics’. We hope to promote handbell music through performances and present the art of handbell ringing to the public.Ringers in Bellaholics all carry rich performing experiences by learning in the Hong Kong Youth Handbell Ensemble under Miss Emily Li. We performed on various occasions locally and internationally, receiving acclamations from different audiences by bringing high-quality performances, including our annual Christmas concert since founding, and attendance in the 20th and 21th International Handbell Symposium in Nashville, USA, and Hamamatsu, Japan representing Hong Kong.Other than organizing and participating in music events, Bellaholics regularly uploads clips on social media aiming to bring a brand new experience to audiences. With our diversified and inspiring performances, we share the joy with the public and promote handbell music in Hong Kong.
